Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Pope, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Newkirk, Oklahoma on October 24, 2025.

Born in Kansas City, Kansas Betty lived a life filled with love, laughter and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her true love, husband Paul Pope with whom she shared many wonderful years.

Betty is survived by her children, Debbie (Rick) Leaming, Paul Pope, and Jeff (Barbara) Pope. Her grandchildren, Adam (Liz) Leaming, Ashley (Michael) Caron, Tyler (Tia) Leaming, Andrew (Fallon) Leaming, Matthew Pope, Jessica (Richard) Tucker, and Hannah Hill along with 16 cherished great grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings and extended family, all of whom meant so much to her.

Throughout her career, Betty worked as a cardiology technician and pulmonary function technician, where she was known for her dedication and compassion toward her patients and colleagues.

Betty had a deep love for reading and enjoyed cheering for her favorite teams, especially her Kansas City Chiefs. She found joy in spending time with her family and was happiest surrounded by those she loved most.

A memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held in Cole Camp, Missouri where she will rest eternally beside her husband Paul.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donating to the Cole Camp Library, volunteering to listen to a child read at the Cole Camp Elementary School or adding a book or two to a neighborhood "Little Library".
