Gerald Miller, 82, beloved Father, Grandfather, and brother was called to his eternal resting place on September 8, 2025. He entered this world on January 28, 1943, in Franklin, PA, born to George Robert and Dorothy Irene Cline Miller.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, in the Winfield Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, KS with Pastor Joshua Officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Miller Stahl Funeral Home of Newkirk, OK.
Gerald served his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. Gerald married the love of his life, Nelda Woods January 21, 1967, in Comanche, Iowa and they made their home in Kansas and Oklahoma. They moved to Newkirk in 2004. Gerald retired from Boeing as an aircraft Fabricator. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren, watching old westerns and wrestling. He also enjoyed going to the Casinos, playing Dominoes, cards, and Games. Gerald was a member of the Newkirk First Baptist church.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his Son; Derrick Miller and wife Valerie of Wichita, KS, Twayna Lacey and husband Edward of Geuda Springs, KS. Grandchildren; Heather Jackson and husband Paul of Taft, TX and Micah Henman of Ponca City, OK. great grandchildren: Requel Burchett, Miriam Jasckson, and Evangelin Jackson, also surviving are his sisters; Alice Trittlehorn, Virgina Stuchel, Dena (Lora) Miller, and Richene (Randy) Stull, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nelda and one brother, George Miller.
