Rosin Shinn

December 29, 1992 — December 24, 2023

Rosin Bradlee Shinn passed away December 24, 2023.  Rosin began life’s journey on December 29, 1992, in Ponca City with his parents; Justin Shinn and Shannon (Cline) North. He grew up in Newkirk and graduated from Newkirk High School in 2011.  Rosin furthered his education by attending Northern Oklahoma College for a time.

Growing up Rosin showed his talent with anything that had wheels.  He would ride a wheely further than anyone else and had a great knack for riding or driving.  He enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, motorcycles, side by side, literally anything with wheels he would master.  Rosin loved to experience the adrenaline that came along with jumps, riding the dunes, or anything dangerous.  You name it and he would be there living on the edge, making it look easy with a smile on his face and his puppy dog, Conlee, by his side.  Conlee was more like a son than a dog to Rosin.  He would celebrate his birthday with pictures and presents and take him everywhere.  If you knew Rosin, then you knew Conlee.  Rosin was a unique young man of few words.  Rosin was the co-founder and co-owner of Ti Pro Custom RC which specialized in making high end customs remote control vehicles. Rosin worked for the Railroad as a Conductor for the last five years.

He is survived by his dog, Conlee, parents; Justin Shinn and Shannon North, siblings; Pake Shinn and his significant other, Brandalyn Vogele, Tyler Shinn and Kade North, Grandparents; Janice Shinn, Dana Cline, and Tammy McGlasson, Great Grandmother, Mary Dawn Cline, Nephew, Jaxx Shinn, Aunt Julie Shinn and numerous extended family and friends. Rosin was preceded in death by his grandfather; Jack Shinn and great grandparents; June and Wayne Collyar, and Rosemary Shinn.

A Memorial Service will be held in Rosin’s honor at 10 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Rise Up Church located at 201 S Walnut Ave in Newkirk with Pastor Clayton Pappan presiding.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Stahl Funeral Home.  Please sign or leave memories and stories of Rosin on his online guest book at www.Millerstahl.com.
