September 19, 1941 — May 24, 2021

LaFaun Bryson Locke was born September 19, 1941 in Ponca City, Oklahoma and passed away at her home May 24, 2021.

The daughter of Alfred Glen and LeAnna Lou Williams Bryson, LaFaun grew up on the family farm NE of Newkirk along the Arkansas River.  Her childhood years were spent helping on the farm, riding horses, and going to rodeos.

After graduating from Newkirk High School in 1959, she then went to on to graduate from Ponca City Business College in 1962.

She began working at Security Abstract Company, spending her day in the County Clerks office typing deeds, mortgages, oil & gas leases, etc.

Their son, Steven R Locke, was born October 11, 1967.

In 1978 Keith and LaFaun opened Locke Auto Parts which they have operated for over 40 years. LaFaun worked until the end, never wanting to retire as she loved seeing her customers every day.
